🚨 Blue States, Police States 🚨

Eight peaceful protesters.

A Merritt Parkway overpass.

A $50 fine for a law that doesn’t even apply.

This morning, Connecticut State Troopers threatened, detained, and cited the Bridge Brigade—long known for safe, legal protest—for “Unauthorized Sign Near Highway.” Their real crime? Exercising their First Amendment rights.

If this is how blue state police treat older white protesters with cameras rolling, imagine what’s happening where there are no cameras.

We’ll see them in court. ✊

Mars voor Bram

5 mei-plein, Maarn, zondag 17 augustus om 13:00 CEST

Wolven zijn belangrijk voor de biodiversiteit in Nederland. Deze staat zwaar onder druk, en de wolf is een beschermde diersoort.

Wolf Bram is vader van vijf welpen, waarvan er twee zijn doodgereden. Er wordt nu op hem gejaagd omdat hij een probleemwolf zou zijn.

Maar wolven hebben rust nodig als hun jongen worden grootgebracht. Op het landgoed den Treek-Henschoten wordt Bram en zijn roedel die rust niet gegund. Met als gevolg incidenten, waarbij Bram de schuld krijgt. Maar kan een wild dier de schuld krijgen van menselijk handelen?

Kom en laat je stem horen tegen het doodschieten van Bram!

Je bent welkom om in de kleuren te komen van jezelf of de beweging waar je graag bij hoort.

De regels om mee te doen zijn:

  • Onze borden, leuzen en chants zijn ook geweldloos.

We lopen een route door Maarn, langs het landgoed den Treek-Henschoten. Bij voldoende deelnemers en helpers is er nog een lange route die langs het leefgebied van Bram loopt en de plek waar een van zijn welpen is doodgereden.

Dit protest wordt georganiseerd in een samenwerking tussen XR Utrechtse Heuvelrug & Woudenberg en Animal Rebellion
