Day 2 on a #stationarybike. Looked up how gears work so it was a more consistent experience. Set the pacer to 60w and beat them by 30 seconds or so. Tried to keep myself from skyrocketing my HR to 180 and went for a longer gradual increase. Also went without eating and don’t feel nauseous this time, though might be due to less of a high intensity ramp or just not the shock on my body from moving around lol. #excercise #excerciseaccountability
I suspect experts might not agree, but I find it useful to think of my mild OCD as a separate gremlin that lives in my head. One like a friendly and over enthusiastic dog that can only barely be trained, but responds disproportionately well to being distracted by small and (to me) insignificant rewards. I can also take OCD walkies (it especially likes walking perimeters and zig-zags) to get my own exercise, and do so most every day.
Planned on doing more exercise, since I felt sitting all day at work wasn't great. Found these training videos and even the beginner workouts are punishingly hard (for me). They are really good though, sort of gamified. I find that an exercise to "play along" with helps to set a goal and push further.

Finger Qi Gong
Found this finger #qigong video that I made a while back. It's got very few views - a lot fewer than I think it deserves, so I post a link here, just because...
The sound is poor, so you may want to enable subtitles.

Any #Whoop users out there?
Since the last hardware update to the device itself, I feel my “strain” targets are being hit a LOT easier than previous. Like nearly effortlessly. The device is also “recognizing activies” more so now than before. Anyone else noticing this?

An elderly relative has dementia.
In the early stages now.
They are exercising.
I see research showing that exercise and muscular strength is protective of cognition / memory.
I'm wondering about the effects of a " near maximal capacity" exercise program.
Can anyone point me at research on or directly relevant to this?
Maybe this has differences to a program in which not "blowing up" the athelete is top priority?
