Demon, “Midnight Funk” 1999

This was a first: none of the albums, artists, or tracks I’m familiar with spanning rock, power pop, edm, downtempo, or ambient that include this week’s prompt “demon” inspired me sufficiently to shine a spotlight on them, so I did a cursory search in discogs and hit gold: French DJ/producer (aren’t they all French dj/producers?) Jérémie Mondon aka Demon put together an irresistible collection of #ElectroFunk collage for Midnight Funk, his first release under his own name.
