Now for the climate discourse session 1 at #CADS2024 with papers by R. Poole on diachronic #ecolinguistics corpora, J. Currie et al. on parliamentary debates about #ClimateChange and A Meyer on mining company discourse.

I've been testing ideas for replacing swear words with things that are bad for the environment. So far my favourites are grumbling "Fossil fuels..." when annoyed and blurting "Ah, pesticides!" when something goes wrong

More suggestions welcome.
