#20252025Challenge
Today I went to Japan Fest Mansfield. It was a lot of fun watching the events on stage and looking at the stalls, though the Taiko drumming was a bit loud (as it should be 😅).

The 2025 20-25 Challenge.

This year let’s get better at something by finding a little practice time most days, in my case drawing. - Do your activity for at least 25 minutes, at least 25 days per month.
- Use the hashtag #20252025Challenge on social media etc to track your progress
- Also use the hashtag to cheer on others.

That’s about it!

Have fun with your activities, whatever they may be!

Drawing, programming, dancing, cooking, make up, reading, languages, gardening, mastering high fives, sewing, astrophysics, vcr clock setting ...

Got a chance to sneak in some drumming while my wife took the dog out for an evening walk. The boy is what you may call “not a fan”
of me drumming.

Here’s what the playlist offered up tonight.

I was reminded how much Alex Van Halen loves his ride cymbal, and how much more I prefer The Ataris version of The Boys of Summer over the original. It’s SO good.

Any #drummers #drumming here who are #actuallyautistic?

I start drumming lessons soon and have been watching some beginner lessons on YouTube in preparation, using imaginary drums, and I can do 1+2+3+4 with highhat on my right hand and snare (left hand) on the 2 and 4, and I can do highhat with bass drum (left foot) on the 1 and 3, but as soon as I try and put it together I lose it completely 😂

Is this a normal barrier I need to force my brain over or a sign I’ll never get it?
