I just noticed something about #DreamTheater. The end of the album "Metropolis Pt. 2: Scenes from a Memory" is some static sound that slowly fades out. The beginning of their next album "Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence" is that same static sound that fades in. I think the only way you'd notice this is if you listen to these albums chronologically.

I'm giving the new #DreamTheater album 'Parasomnia' another go.
Musically it is quite good, but I think I've been spoilt by #techdeath and its 'anything goes' philosophy. Growling, singing, even a whole woodwind section.
So, I'm having trouble staying engaged. It's a bit...dare I say it, pedestrian. #Music
