The “Wester moskee” (Wester Mosque) is a large mosque in the “De Baarsjes” area in West. Built in Ottoman style, it has a big dome and minaret. Finished in 2015, it mixes Dutch and Turkish design and is one of the biggest mosques in the Netherlands. 🇳🇱 🇹🇷 🕌

The mosque is linked to Diyanet, a Turkish government group that sends imams abroad. This connection has raised questions about Turkish influence (the long arm of The State). Still, the mosque mainly focuses on prayer, religion, and community, and there’s no sign it supports radical ideas. 🙏

Day 3 of my 2 day ride! Still crazy windy. Rode past Dunbar around the coast past North Berwick. Bridge on map was impassible so had to backtrack. Some great views of the mighty Bass rock. Just when wind was at its strongest it also started to pour. Stopped at really nice cafe! #cycling #done

@breizh Heu... Alors c'est pas *du tout* ce que je disais. Mon propos était les packages mis à dispo par le logiciel, pas par la distro. Effectivement, gimp3 on l'aura pas dans Debian avant 2 ans et demi, ça, bon... :)

Ce sont les #appimage / #flatpack / #snap que je trouve lents et mal branlés, comme #docker (bullshit buzzwords: #done ). Du coup, je préférerais un package .deb générique pour tout ce qui est debian-like récent, un .rpm pour les riches, et le tgz/git pour les autres... Mais bon, c'est pas à la mode.

Way too much social interaction for one day. Confronting our landlord about his Model T in the garage below us really drained me. Management at work just baffles me all the time. I get emotionally dysfunctional in front of people I work with, who fortunately is an adult and helps me through it. My doctor appointment almost turned into therapy. Aaaand then to top it off, my mother calls me.
