Amsterdam_XXXThe “Wester moskee” (Wester Mosque) is a large mosque in the “De Baarsjes” area in West. Built in Ottoman style, it has a big dome and minaret. Finished in 2015, it mixes Dutch and Turkish design and is one of the biggest mosques in the Netherlands. 🇳🇱 🇹🇷 🕌 The mosque is linked to Diyanet, a Turkish government group that sends imams abroad. This connection has raised questions about Turkish influence (the long arm of The State).
