#KseniiaPetrova has admitted that she failed to declare the samples, but her atty argued that this would ordinarily be treated as a minor infraction, punishable w/a fine. Instead, a #customs ofcl canceled Petrova’s #visa on the spot & initiated #deportation proceedings.

On Wed, a federal judge in VT quizzed govt attys about whether customs had the authority to cancel Petrova’s visa, & set a bail hearing for later this month, a sign that she was potentially moving toward releasing Petrova.

so, i have global entry which is pretty nice. definitely worth it if you travel internationally, IMO.

anyway, i came thru customs the other day and it was the same as it's ever been.

no one asked to see my phone or about my poliical opinions., it was just the same old "Do you have anything to declare" --no "Have a nice day."

*who knows if things will change, or when or why or how drastically. but that was my experience a few days ago
