Blennies are one of my favorite macro subjects. There are so many different species and it is really fun looking for their tiny heads peeking out of rocks and corals. This one is a spinyhead blenny spotted in Cuba. I used a snoot to spotlight the tiny blenny while keeping a dark background and foreground.

Subject: Spinyhead blenny. The small blenny peeks its head out with an open mouth, white face region, tiny visible spines on top, two prominent horn-like spines, and a brown body with white speckles. The blenny is lit, but the foreground and background substrate is dark.
