I’m finally watching the final season of #CraigOfTheCreek. I gave up waiting on the fam. We’d been watching it together (during these pandemic years)—all 3 of us sharing enjoyment of the clever, creative writing & cartoon-smart animation, but fell off. And the offspring now choses other activities or shows for those rare shared watchings.

I discovered #CraigOfTheCreek with my 3yo and 5yo, and now we're hooked—solid (and uplifting!) storytelling for little ones and adults alike.

We tried Bluey, but it didn't stick. It's a great show, don't get me wrong, but I found it too “idealistic.” At the end of each episode, I feel I would never be as cool and creative as Bluey’s dad .

I just finished season 3 of #CraigOfTheCreek.

The multi-part finale was absolutely epic!

I love this show so much. It's honestly like someone took my childhood, embellished it a bit and made it into a cartoon.

I assume it's decently popular seeing as how they're currently on season 6 I believe, but I never really hear anyone talk about the show.

Craig of the Creek - Explorers

In a recent "Craig of the Creek" episode (Bernard of the Creek, Part 2), Alexis shows up near the end wearing this set of armor which she got from the school's theater department.

It looks SO FAMILIAR to me but I can't place it, and the nerds in my discord couldn't either.

I swear this is a reference to something very specific and it *feels* like it's from NES box art or something like that.

Anybody got a lead?
