Paul Weiss & Skadden? My gosh, I haven’t heard that name in a while. Weren’t they the law firm that exposed their inability to defend anyone back in 2025? So many talented lawyers and staff with such potential, turned to ash in an instant. Kinda sad if they hadn’t chosen it for themselves.

I received an email telling me that due to overcrowding at the building I was assigned, I was to work fully remotely until further notice.

Turns out “further notice” was two hours later at 5 PM. I’ll be reporting back to the office Monday morning. Great coordination, assholes.

Hard to understand a ruling like this. By traditional interpretations of the Constitution, the President does not have the power to rewrite or ignore the laws passed by Congress. POTUS can't authorize DOGE to do what it has done. The Trump administration has been in nonstop violation of the Constitution since week 1.

AP News · Appeals court clears way for DOGE to keep operating at USAIDA federal appeals court has lifted an order blocking Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency from further cuts at the U.S. Agency for International Development. The three-judge panel found the Trump administration is likely to show that DOGE’s involvement doesn’t violate the Constitution. The appeals court blocked a ruling from U.S. District Judge Theodore Chuang in Maryland, who found that DOGE’s actions violated the appointments clause.
