In "Poker Face," Natasha Lyonne plays a woman with an uncanny ability to tell if other people are lying — which helps her solve the bizarre mysteries she encounters every week. The second season of the "Columbo"-inspired show, directed by Rian Johnson, just started. @ew spoke with Lyonne and Johnson about the show and its starry supporting cast — think Cynthia Erivo, Giancarlo Esposito, John Mulaney, and a host of doggy actors.

Well, on the one hand the evidence against him is circumstantial. On the other hand, he did make a confession.

“I knew this guy was exceptional. The show with Steven Spielberg was the first time in my acting career that I did a scene in which I was unaware where the camera was. In television, the camera is always right there. And we did a scene, and he said 'Action,' and we started to shoot, and in the middle of the scene I said, 'Where the hell is the camera?' - Peter Falk on the episode directed by Steven Spielberg
