Amaze<p>I watched a video of a college recruiter who grew up in El Paso, who was showing group pictures of the many organizations she belonged to. She pronounced El Paso as El Pay-so. There was a nuance of deliberate aggression in her pronunciation and I thought to myself, she grew up there, how could she not know how to pronounce it? Sure enough, I went back and looked at her group pictures, each with about 30+ people.
