If a game has a card game I dont like, detest, or just can't understand, my partner plays it for me to make my life easier.
That said, Qwent in Witcher 3 was amazing and I played the shit out of that. Never has a card game been that amazing, and the phone version failed to catch that magic.
No cars game needs insanely convoluted animations. Keep it simple and engaging.

Rediscovered my favorite mobile game series this week after finding out they released a new one a few years ago that I missed.
From 3 Minute Games, the Lifeline series is a lot of fun as a text-based role playing game. The stories are very well done and I love the “choose your adventure” style of play.
And my favorite part: they’re designed to be played over several days because the stories happen “in real time”. As you communicate with a character and they go off and do something the game will “pause” until they’re done and start talking to you again.
I decided to start the series over from the beginning today and it’s been long enough that I don’t remember all the details and it’s fun to figure out what’ll happen as I choose each option.
hyper-fixated on dogs “thank goodness you’re here” is living up to my expectations of being absurd, charming, and disturbing.
A question to my fellow #fedigamers since I'm curious: Would you call yourself a #CasualGamer, a #CoreGamer or a #HardcoreGamer? (I'm a core gamer myself, btw.)

There was this beautiful game called Flutter on iPhone(it’s still there) about butterflies. Then they ruined it by making it pay to play/win. And that’s why I don’t trust phone games anymore #gaming #CasualGamer

This is more like my usual monthly tally, a few short of perfect. I might be able to knock out one or two of those missing if I grinded it out for another hour or so, but when I started playing this again a couple months ago I told myself that I wasn't going to do that. If I didn't get it in the first couple tries, just walk on.

Okay, also offensichtlich bin ich auch nicht recht die Zielgruppe, aber das Onboarding bei #MarioCart8Deluxe finde ich schon reichlich unterbeeindruckend. Erster Start, irgendein Avatar wird erzeugt, der dann nie wieder auftaucht, dann soll ich irgendwas wählen, ein Rennen beginnt und ab dafür. Ich weiß nicht, was ich drücken muss, soll oder kann, irgendwas passiert, irgendwann ist das Rennen um, mit irgendeinem Ergebnis. Was ist denn aus dem guten alten Tutorial geworden? #Nintendo #CasualGamer
