#callsign

I have been getting some inquires about a new prediction on my vanities site, "Blacklisted by FCC".

I noticed that there have been dozens of applications for the callsigns N6ER and N1GI over the last year, but they have not been assigned. I concluded that something was odd in the FCC's vanity #callsign processing.

When I asked the #FCC Helpdesk, they responded stating that "These callsigns are not available to any applicant". So this appears to be a new state, with these callsigns blacklisted.

#introduction Hello Everyone, this is @VA2XJM writing on the @VE2ATU account.

VE2ATU is the #callsign of the "Association des Radioamateurs de l'Abitibi-Témiscamingue". We are a group based in Western Quebec. We are deploying an #aredn mesh network as the backbone of our operations and we run various projects over this like an IMRS network for our Yaesu Fusion repeaters.

Our operations goes mainly in #fr but we will work to share in #en also.

Thx for the welcome!

Update for vanities.k2cr.com/ Vanity #Callsign Predictions:

Now announcing same-day-of-filing predictions. The site no longer waits for the #FCC data export, but now pulls data from the live ULS website.

This means you can see what callsigns others have applied for, and make a decision whether to spend your $35 on an application or not.

For example, it's not too late to apply for the desirable K7RX callsign today, if you can deal with at least 9-way competition: vanities.k2cr.com/vanity-K7RX.
