The difference is in semantics.

What I call the "same land" stretches from the borders of #Afghanistan in the northwest to #Myanmar (then #Burma) in the SouthEast.

This is the land that was partitioned in accordance with #UN resolution and with agreement of political leaders on BOTH sides of the border.
