#botanical sketching in der Picknick-Pause: Gundermann in #watercolour
On the way to my work in the #museum: It's the time of #aubrieta deltoidea, a traditional garden plant in #Alsace. The colourful cushions have a sweet scent and the sounds of pollinators (today it was much too cold for them, we have an icy NE wind). It's named after the French #botanical artist Claude Aubriet: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Claude_Aubriet
Vintage Botanical Prints – 63 in a series – Botanical Alphabet Cross-Stitch from the Anacostia Community Museum
Not a vintage piece of the art, but rather something in a vintage style. I happened across it while searching the Smithsonian sites and thought it would make an appropriate addition here. — Douglas

Roses in June colored pencil
My drawing is inspired by vibrant roses blooming in June. It's always so nice to see these roses again, as the weather gets warmer.
