Silk Sonic, An Evening with Silk Sonic, 2021 on Aftermath / Atlantic

Super duo with Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak, with special guest “host” Bootsy Collins. So far this is their only full length LP, but “Leave the Door Open” won a ton of awards.

It’s a wonderful album and I hope the first of many more to come. My copy via a record fair at Mill No 5 in Lowell MA

#KINKFM had in die tijd zo'n leuk spelletje, genaamd #linkmiegel, waarbij je songs aan elkaar kon linken door bijvoorbeeld de band #Deus aan het liedje Deus van the #Sugarcubes te koppelen of een #RHCP-nummer van het album Freaky Styley te linken aan een nummer van #BootsyCollins, omdat #GeorgeClinton dat album produceerde en samen met de tweede in één band speelde.

Dit zouden we eigenlijk op #Mastodon nieuw leven moeten inblazen.

"Flash Light" (also called "Flashlight") is the final song on #Parliament’s 1977 album Funkentelechy Vs. the Placebo Syndrome.
