DorineI love working with bokeh. The background plays the biggest role here. It is the small, fine leaf of the Jasminum nudiflorum (winter jasmine). This facade covering blooms in the Netherlands in the winter with small yellow flowers. Nice to combine with the evergreen Mahonia medea that also blooms yellow in the winter and gives large dark shiny leaves. DorineThis is the Tussilago farfara, In the Netherlands it is called "small coltsfoot". It looks like the dandelion, but is smaller and blooms earlier, in the Netherlands already from February on. The leaf develops after the flower at the end of the winter. After flowering the heads nod downwards. After a while they straighten up again and the spherical fluff ball unfolds.
