SaaraOne of the reasons changing bad habits is so difficult is that learned patterns don't just disappear from your brain when you replace a habit. For example you could be free of tobacco for months but slip back into smoking if a familiar cue triggers the old habit (like a social situation you associate with smoking or a stressful life change).
