Laptop battery suddenly died. Question is, was it due to being over 6 years old, or due to overloading it playing BeamNG.drive using its unstable Vulkan renderer mode and turning a pickup truck into bacon?
Oh bloody hell, I just did it again! I got through the toll booths, the AI cars didn't (they really can't navigate those!) and it was all clear... until I lost control, hit a wall and did my car in, and on the last lap I hit a random car in traffic and finished it off. Damn my ineptitude. 
Noooooo! I was just about to win a race (mainly due to all the AI cars having a pile-up at a toll booth) while only having three wheels for most of the race (thanks to going flat-out through aforementioned toll booth) but my engine conked out two checkpoints from the end. Arse! This is great fun, though.
Thought I’d dust off the steering wheel and have a play with BeamNG.drive, haven’t played it in ages. I saw some cool looking races on the FailRace YouTube channel a couple of days ago that I liked the look of, I’ll try those out methinks.
