Ahh there it is, the scum at the scum “newspaper” and their scum tv station keeping the anti BBC story going and serving the public interest by paying for an interview with what turned out to be liars, got to hand it to murdoch , that cu*t knows no bottom to the depths he will plumb #bbc #news #thesun #bbcpresenter #HuwEdwards #DontBuyTheSun #talkTV #rupertmurdoch
If only the #BBC’s critics always cared this much about #YoungPeople
Whipping ourselves into a fury about the alleged activities of a #BBCpresenter is no substitute for the necessary overhaul of our policies and attitudes towards #children and young people

As Britain starts to put its flaming torches and pitchforks back into temporary storage, perhaps it can now concentrate on things that are a lot more important and a lot less vindictive.

There's a single lesson that we can take from the last few days.
Don't buy The S*n.
Oh no, I can’t believe it, it turns out the s** is a scummy little rag, owned by a scummy little man, who also owns a scummy satellite tv station that’s in direct competition with the BBC , who the scummy man’s scummy sons have repeatedly called for the abolition of. Well I for one am shocked

I’m amazed how many people actually believed what was reported in The Sun. A newspaper generally referred to as a comic #bbcpresenter #huwedwards

Vicky Flind says her husband is "suffering mental health issues" and is now receiving in-patient hospital care
Now we know who the person is in #TheSun’s #BBCpresenter story, may I suggest to anybody who still buys that desperate rag that you wipe your arse on it, pop the lot in an envelope and post it to Rupert #Murdoch directly?
It’s the only way he’ll get the message. And as ever - #dontbuyTheSun
It's nice to see all these MPs weighing in on the #BBCPresenter story coming out and saying how desperately important it is for organisations to deal firmly with sexual predators.
Meanwhile, Chris Pincher is still an MP.
Boris Johnson discusses his ‘brilliant strategy for confusing media’
A clip has resurfaced of Boris Johnson discussing his “brilliant strategy” for dealing with the media… do so many gaffes that the papers don't notice the real story. A good day to bury bad news?
"It's his decision, but he needs to come forward now"
"His survival instinct has kicked in... but my god, look at the damage to the #BBC . Look at the damage to his friends"

As unsavoury as it is, the more people are talking about the #BBCpresenter story (including the BBC themselves) the less we're talking about Boris Johnson's contempt of parliament, the George Osbourne email story, that inflation is at 8.7%, the UK water company debacle, the Michelle Mone PPE scandal, the fact that an MP was arrested four times and accused of rape, but still has the Tory whip and is standing for election... It's all deflection and distraction, and Rupert Murdoch is right there.
So hasn't the deadline passed for the government to hand over Johnson's WhatsApp messages to the Covid Inquiry?
Whatever happened to that? Are any journalists free to report on it or are they all too busy distracting us with what an unnamed BBC presenter may or may not have done?
