These were done ages ago but the photos are here only now. I bet you all had been holding your breaths since late April!

A full Star of Hell's Horses of the Alpha Keshik, and three more Points to my Jade Falcon / Gamma Galaxy / 3rd Falcon Talon Cluster. I'm most happy with the jewels on Nova Cat's three ER Large Lasers. Sometimes they end up looking great, and that is nice.

Done, photographed, edited: CJF Quatrefoil, in my universe an Overlord-C as opposed to what Sarna has agreed to (either an old Overlord or maybe a Command variant). Screw that, I went with the -C because I felt like it :D

Tons of fun was had, even if it sounded like a technically boring paintjob of greys. I also went with a grey as that's what the mission loading screen in Mechwarrior II from my youth had, while Camospecs says fleet assets are green.

Welp, they did it. The mercs were able to find and destroy the squad that had the nuclear device. However, not before they activated it. Still counts as a win.

Rolls of “are they crazy enough to do it” and “does the device even work” succeeded, so we could see the results of a 0.5 kiloton nuclear explosion in #BattleTech. It wasn’t pretty. One mech and a few infantry squads who hadn’t been able to get away were destroyed outright. The rest was damaged, the pilots being badly injured or killed.

Maybe I'm about done now, unless I come up with some little tweak(s) still. After these photos I applied more matt varnish on the remaining glossy spots.

I did some hand-painted Autocannon hits and laser scorches, as well as sponged chips. For the light chips I used light grey, and for the deeper parts some dark grey with a drop of red. Today I drybrushed some black-tinted dark grey for soot and scorchmarks. With that I also shadowed the Gamma Galaxy's planet.
