IDIC<p>Finished my post-holiday <a href="https://halifaxsocial.ca/tags/Crochet" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Crochet</span></a> For Me project! My first <a href="https://halifaxsocial.ca/tags/crocheted" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>crocheted</span></a> hat. It may yet get a pompom, but it's wearable as-is and I like it!</p><p><a href="https://halifaxsocial.ca/tags/BasketWeave" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>BasketWeave</span></a> stitch from Loops &amp; Threads' Facets roving yarn in Seaglass on a 4mm hook. </p><p>The photo of the skein captures the colour a little better: smooth changes from bright emerald to royal purple.</p><p>I didn't follow a specific pattern, so I'm pleased with the decreases at the top, but 100 stitches around would have been better than 90 for a looser fit.</p>
