He was a leading figure of the aesthetic movement and a huge figure in the development of art nouveau, as well as probably the most iconic visual artist to be associated with the Decadent movement. </p><p>While this appears to be a simple equestrian picture, take a close look at the woman's expression and the tight hold she has on the reins.
