It was later recorded by #JermaineJackson with a then-unknown #WhitneyHouston, and also by Canadian #countryMusic artist #AnneMurray with singer-songwriter #DaveLoggins. TODAY IN QUEER TV HISTORY

AS THE WORLD TURNS - 5/20/2008, CBS

This daytime soap opera had, by this point, stopped being quite so damn prissy about showing physical affection between Noah (Jake Silbermann) and Luke (Van Hansis), aka "Nuke." The characters were a couple on the show from 2007 until the series' cancellation in 2010.

Here, Luke and Noah seem to finally be freed from the main problems in their relationship: 1) having to sneak and hide because of Noah's green-card marriage to a woman (so she could stay in the U.S.), and 2) threats and violence from Noah's homophobic father (who by this time was in prison).
