So, more than half of my phone's RAM is eaten up by #google #assistant . A service I've never asked for, nor use. Essentially, I pay for some corporate fuck's data mining scheme. So, ya'll brilliant out of comfy job IT folks care to tell me how we upstage these fucks? Otherwise fuck off my feed with corporate accepted nerdy stuff.

A commission for Bellied Bird to draw their friendly emotional support Goodra robot assistant in SS13.
Their ref featured a for-scale sprite comparison that seemed similar so I correctly guessed that guy is from/for playing with SS13 and drew the kitchen from one of the servers I could google.

Shortly before I even tried drawing and loong before I started doing commissions I did some SS13 character sprites editing to add furries to the mix of a private RedditfursSteam server.

Started doing it for fun but peeps liked it enough I tried to support as many species as I could. It was surprisingly hard to stick to the same template to make sure items and ears, snout etc didn't look too out of place or stick out too much in weird ways.

I don't know if I could still find the sprites if I tried (maybe?). After working on this commission me and noxid decided to check out SS14 and I'm happy to see nowadays there's a lot more furry species on SS14.

Had to ask friends for help on this one and suggest better color balance because it initially was wayy too dark and made the character accidentally look evil.

I am aware loads of people are anti LLM and assistants, but I like using them for admin work like making templates/worksheets for school. Saves so much time! My school is cheap and I am poor. I also dislike logging in to use a service.. So, anyone got a free, login-less, decent quality LLM/AI that can make worksheets or diagrams? #EdTech #AI #assistant

Этим постом объявляю начало треда по экспериментам с локальным голосовым помощником на базе Home Assistant.

На картинке - Home Assistant Voice Preview.
Тонкий клиент на базе ESP32 (ESPHome), который может слушать и по wake word передавать в Home Assistant голосовые команды и проигрывать ответы или какой-нибудь другой звук.

Мне хочется посмотреть можно ли в 2025 году без большого количества пердолинга и, в идеале, ограничившись максимум докером обеспечить себе не шпионящий голосовой помощник.
