Back home again after a week's vacation.

Here are some assorted photos from the week. From a selfie of me, to horses on Assateague, to a portrait of me made in sand by one of my 9 year old daughters.

Last photo is the pool towels cannister at the place we stayed at. I may be a mature adult in his early 40s, but the moment I saw that, had to take a snap of it.

Island is a 37-mile (60 km) long barrier island located off the eastern coast of the Delmarva Peninsula facing the Atlantic Ocean. The northern two-thirds of the island is in Maryland, and the southern third is in Virginia.

Assateague Island is steadily, relentlessly losing mass at its north end (near Ocean City, Maryland) and gaining it on the south end near Tom’s Cove.
