Asheville CharlieOn my short drive to work there are two houses. One of them is for sale and one of them is for rent. They've had signs in front of them for more than a month now. Before <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/Helene" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Helene</a> these would have vanished before they could put the signs in the yard.These are the real signs that <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/Asheville" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Asheville</a> has lost some of its shine. I'm kind of 50/50 on this. We were thriving <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/tourist" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#tourist</a> destination but the cost of everything especially <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/housing" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#housing</a> was (is) insane. Maybe just maybe it will come down to just nuts.

This is one of the large grinding sites for <a href="https://vmst.io/tags/Helene" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Helene</a> debris. They had large electronic sign’s approaching this saying authorities are aware. It was pretty weird seeing it burn this close to the highway.
