Six Flags, the decades-old amusement park in Maryland, U.S., will close permanently on Nov. 2, and its sister site in Santa Clara, Calif., will likely be shuttered in 2027. NBC takes a look at how the pandemic set the company on an economic rollercoaster, and talks to some of the people who work and play there. "When I look back at my life, am I going to say I wasted 10 years walking around Six Flags America?" says Matt Donoghue, who typically visits the park with his family more than 100 times a year. "I don’t think so, because my kids have learned so much about how to be good people from being around good people there."
