TiffOne thing that has always fascinated me about trees is the sheer variety of textures of bark. TiffHave a giant sequoia for <a href="https://pixelfed.social/discover/tags/thicktrunktuesday?src=hash" class="u-url hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#thicktrunktuesday</a> This is one of the small handful of giant sequoias at the <a href="https://pixelfed.social/discover/tags/edinburgh?src=hash" class="u-url hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#edinburgh</a> botanic gardens, although this was taken a couple of years ago and before Storm Eowyn devastated the place. I have no idea if this tree is still standing, though I hope it is, I know they had some major fallen tree damage there, including some of their giants.
