That's the wrong way around, to me. What does count as art, IMO, is any performance or object that you do/make because it's pleasing to the senses and/or the mind, including your own.

Good god. I could never. It's giving me anxiety just looking at it and imagining how you'd make that.

I've written a very shaggy, hokey version of my big fight scene, and I would *love* to sit with someone and figure out how to turn the suck down. But they'd need to know the whole story so far, and that's what my writing group is for. : )

No. Not sure why I would. I mean, I can see the fun in it, truly flying by the seat of your pants, but if I want my writing to be *good*, I had better damn well edit it. The first draft is just finding the story, the beats, the motifs, the emotions.

First, she'd ask around to see who's it is. Someone in the arcology will know. If they don't, then she'll open it just to find something identifying and figure out how to get it back to them. It'd become a whole thing.

Some military march or another, devoid of actual spirit or energy. Something that's only just barely more interesting than listening to a metronome.

Notes are different than plans. I have notes on what I've established to be true, as part of the writing process, and then I have plans for what I'm going to do past the edge of what I've written. And no, I don't follow them closely at all. :)
