THREE chapters remain to edit in Book4.

The thing with targeted editing is that I bounce around the book randomly. There is some thought that goes into it, though. There has to be.

That’s how I ended up with three of the most emotionally draining scenes remaining.

Meanwhile, I need to draft a blog post. Easy. It’ll be a progress update after an extraordinary month.

#WorldOfOntyre 28

Another day of “somehow I got it done.”

Having completed revising another chapter, I have four remaining. I also setup my writing journal for October.

I started keeping a writing journal in January 2018 & have faithfully maintained it ever since. It started with skimpy entries in black pen with a few notations in red. Now, it’s a color extravaganza that’s a joy to create each month.

#WorldOfOntyre 27

Five chapters remain for me to edit in Book4 of the Kovenlore Chronicles. My excitement is always tempered because I can see beyond that milestone.

In the immediate future, I need to setup my writing journal for October & prep Book3 for publication. If time permits, I’d like to create a Scrivener project for Expired Reflection, a new Pannulus Mystery.

There’s more, too much more…

#WorldOfOntyre 25

Besides revising Book4, I’ve begun some subtle changes to Book6 that are based on the backstory novella that I drafted earlier this month.

In Book6, the changes really only affect two chapters, but that will include rewriting at least several paragraphs.

The big challenge will be Book7, but I’m going to save that task for farther down the road. My next priority is publishing Book3.

#WorldOfOntyre 24

Star-crossed lovers.

Sometimes my heart wants to burst, but other times the ache inside for them is almost more than I can bare. That’s Riparia & Maniff.

There are so many factors that go into poor luck. You know there’s a winning roll of the dice in your hand, but they never seem to roll your way.

Maybe if you keep rolling those dice long enough luck will change…?

Be everwell.

To be a writer who revises their work extensively is to live with someone else: yourself, & the past you who wrote what you’re working on.

Well, this applies if you let drafts sit long enough.

Nine chapters remain to revise in Book4. After yesterday’s hike, I edited a short chapter. It required about 6 hours & required I eat dinner while doing it. I take my schedule seriously.

Be everwell.
