This is a chainmail mantle with a scale frill. It is composed of bright aluminum rings with anodized aluminum scales. A thick strip of chainmail runs over the back, chest, and both shoulders. At the top of the chainmail, a gather is used to keep the piece in shape. At the bottom of the chainmail, a few layers of scales finish the mantle.
