Currently Playing | U2's 1993 album "Zooropa"
The last album by U2 that I really can say that I like. Not a huge fan of anything since. 80s U2 is chef's kiss though.

@Leenchen It's almost a legal obligation these days to hate U2, so this will get me into trouble, but Achtung Baby is close to being a perfect record. Even more controversial... Zooropa comes damn close too.
There! I said it.

I remember watching the PPV of this concert in my friend's basement. But it can't have been 30 years ago, can it? https://shop.u2.com/pages/zoo-tv-live-from-sydney?utm_source=campaigner&utm_campaign=ALL_20230712_zooropa_streaming_tomorrow&cmp=1&utm_medium=email #zooropa30 #Zooropa #ZooTV
Zooropa is one of U2's most-panned albums. I love Steven Hyden's take: "In 2023, however, Zooropa sounds different than it did in 1993. Unlike a lot of big-time alt-rock records from that year, it doesn’t feel dated. It, in fact, seems more relevant now than it did then."

#U2's "#Zooropa" still packs a punch with me, 30 years after its release.
When those problematic boomers start dying, I'm actually going to cry, because on more than one occasion they saved my life. They were plugged into something, man. Reminded me constantly that there was something out there I had to go see and be part of. Elevated me from my small town ways.
"I went out there in search of experience. To taste and to touch and to feel as much as a man can before he repents."
