MichelleAre you done yet? Almost! Slowly getting through revisions. Bringing in some more contemporary literature. The past few weeks since my thesis defence have been intense. I am only just now getting back into normal rhythm but somehow I have managed to make progress on my revisions despite life and work adding layers. Pup is happy to be back to our normal routine! Goal is to have all my revisions done before the end of February. The end is in sight! Between work, being an <a href="https://pixelfed.de/discover/tags/AcademicParent?src=hash" class="u-url hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#AcademicParent</a> and dragging this thesis towards the finish line, I am ready for a vacation! Or at least to have one less thing on my plate! MichelleSuch a slow slog! Slowly working my way through my thesis, through the questions I have to prepare for my defence, and through my presentation. I am grateful for the moral support of the pup. I am also grateful for everything that running has taught me. I feel like when you are approaching an aid station in an ultra and you are unsure if you can make the time cutoff but you just have to keep moving forward. Just keep running. Slowly, slowly, slowly. At least my pacer is super cute! MichellePuppy is lying on her person's calves amongst blankets and chewies, on a green couch, looking off to the left in profile, her gentle brown eyes attentive to something off camera. Just in front of the puppy is her person's editing. Puppy is very cosy and not interested in the writing. Pup has caramel ears, a white chest and ruff with the cutest whorls behind her ears, while socks, and a dark brown muzzle. Working on the last chapter of my thesis! All the discourse analysis!
