I just learned the Greek word "thumos" the other day. Meaning spiritedness or desiring recognition. Clearly the entomological predecessor of the English slang term "thirst."
grah, I’ve been on the “last paragraph” of this chapter for four paragraphs now, currently starting a fifth. it’s one of those frustrating bits where I know exactly what I want to convey but I just can’t make the right words happen...
