#WhatsMissing: The "#AntiThiel - #Grant":

Sadly I'm not a #billionaire, cuz otherwise I would've done so and hired people to be able to do so.

  • Instead I'm just gonna continue helping a couple wherever I can…

#WhatsMissing : :kb_kurswagen: a through carriage in :nightjet: 40469 - :pkpic: EC 59 #Galicja - :uz: Ш 52.

(Paris Est 19:12, Strasbourg 23:42 - Frankfurt(Main) Süd 03:14-03:19 - 08:26) Berlin Hbf 08:52, Frankfurt(Oder) 09:47-09:50, Rzepin 10:09-10:12, Krakow Glovni 16:02-16:19, Rzeszow 17:41-17:47 - Przemyśl 18:48 (- 20:32 Львів 01:21-01:43 - Київ Пас 8:44)

UZ has rolling stock eligible for this route and the timetable is actually perfect for this through carriage, there's a dining car at day time for food, enough time for the Schengen border checks in Przemyśl. Would be an amazing winner but I fear times for re-establishing through carriages on any line are over for a long time.

#WhatsMissing: A tool to check if #TorBridges are still available/online/reachable that one can use either #standalone (with #TorBrowser and/or #Tor Expert Bundle) or on @tails_live / @tails / #Tails.

  • Cuz I do run into issues and kinda want to sort #Bridges by availability so I don't waste time on a #TorBridge that is down and also thin-out the list of bridges that ain't online anymore.

Whilst I do acknowledge that @torproject do disrecommend having a huge list of Tor Bridges on hand, I do regularly need them for contacts who are behind a #GreatFirewall and can't #SSH-Tunnel out of it.

Espechally being able to filter for #IPv4only and not just #IPv6only is something I miss, alongside the filter for #PluggableTransports type as @guardianproject #Orbot seems to only handle #obfs4 and not webtunnel or #meek at all...

  • I'm pretty certain that merely pinging a bridge at it's port isn't working as a shure-fire way to check for it's availability.

#WhatsMissing is an #Android-#ROM that is the equivalent of @tails_live / @tails / #Tails, which includes @torproject / #Tor and @guardianproject / #Orbot support from the get-go and forces everything through Tor (system-wide #Torification) if not only allows to connect to #OnionSedvices using #orWall...

  • Because that would have a similar audience and really complement peoples' needs.

Ideally make it like an #image file to put on a #RaspberryPi #CM5 / #CM4 / #Pi400 / #Pi500 / #Pi4 / #Pi5 to work with a bunch of #WWAN modules for #data, #SMS & #calling (needed with some SIMs to get shit done)...

#WhatsMissing:

A modern competitor to #OperaMini with:

Why?

OFC since #Opera #Mini needs a trustworthy proxy backend any "#clone" would need an #OpenSource'd & #SelfHosting-capable #backend (similar to @ActionRetro 's #FrogFind .com as it breaks #E2EE.

Needless to say it would be a godsent for anyone stuck on #EDGEland and slower speeds (i.e. #SATCOM like #Iridium)...

  • Sadly building a #browser is thousandsfold harder than building a Linux #distro...

@santiago I agree for the most part, and that's why the "#Rubbon" is a hideos #Enshittifucation to #LibreOffice because it's space-inefficient and unnecessarily increases mouse movements and necessary keystrokes!

#WhatsMissing is a #OfficeSuite that is #KISS-principled, sleek and elegant as well as accessible.

#OOXML should be outlawed, alongside #MicrosoftOffice which can't comply with #GDPR anyway...

You can no longer say "I don´t want to send diagnostic data", then Word just quits silently. (Please spare me the Open/LibreOffice gospel, it does not apply here.)

"Mastodon does actually have a fully functional built-in scheduler buried deep in its code!

However, for some unexplained reason, the official web interface and official apps don’t yet give you any way to access it.

This means you can only use Mastodon’s post scheduling system through third party apps and services via the Mastodon API."

You can vote for an official Mastodon scheduling web interface to be added by giving a thumbs up at this Github issue:

The last release implemented the back-end and API to enable scheduled toot's #9706. That's great, thanks a lot @Gargron. The first Apps like Fedilab on Android already use the new API. 🙂 🎉 But I th...
