EyeI understand why Channel 4 put Arcadia on TV now. It is so appropriate to what is happening in our lives right now. The way governments are "handling" things. Hopefully, there is no second seasonIt was utter tripe. A case of poor script & dreadful overacting, it takes the p**s. It leaps all over the place. The story is a teacher called Macarena shags a student who along with her husband gets killed by Macarenas daughter & her friend respectively. Oh, Macarena gets pregnant by the student & the killers aren’t caught  Rating - 1/10

Sadly the screenplay lets it down, it relies a bit on soviet style acting methods by two characters and flips about a bit.If you miss this programme in all its glory, no need to curse yourself.  Rating - 5/10

There's plenty of sub-plots but the dramatic focus is what happens to individual liberties when the state (here <a href="https://zirk.us/tags/Germany" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#Germany</a>), acting to protect (what it sees) as the general good sacrifices the infected to fate!
