Efekt? Moim zdaniem, o wiele bardziej wyrazisty i dynamiczny! 🔥 A co z symbolem zakonu? Powoli zaczyna wyglądać tak, jak bym chciał – choć nadal jest sporo do poprawy, widzę postępy, a to najważniejsze! 💪 No i muszę przyznać – pokochałem technikę dry brushingu! Idealnie sprawdza się przy malowaniu Space Marine, zwłaszcza jeśli chcesz szybko uzyskać świetny efekt na podstawowym kolorze. 🖌️ Co myślicie o tym Blood Ravenie? Dajcie znać w komentarzach! 🇺🇸 ENG: I swear, this is the last Blood Raven... for a while! 😁 This time, I decided to go a bit wild with the colors – I flipped the scheme and used a darker shade for the base and a lighter one for the edge highlights. The result? In my opinion, much more striking and dynamic! 🔥 And what about the chapter symbol? It's slowly starting to look the way I want it to – although there's still plenty to improve, I can see progress, and that's what matters most! 💪 I also have to admit – I've fallen in love with dry brushing! It's perfect for painting Space Marines, especially if you want to quickly achieve a great effect on the base color. 🖌️ What do you think of this Blood Raven? Plazma może nie jest idealna, ale całość daje solidny efekt na stole. 🌿 Figurka sfotografowana w naturalnym otoczeniu, które podkreśla klimat pola bitwy. Malowanie takich modeli to dla mnie świetny sposób na relaks – każdy kolejny żołnierz to krok bliżej do ukończenia całego oddziału. Co sądzicie o tej miniaturce? Chętnie przyjmę uwagi lub wskazówki, zwłaszcza co do malowania plazmy! 🎨 🇺🇸 ENG: Cadian Shock Troops – a soldier armed with a plasma gun. Simple, classic color scheme: beige uniform, green armor, and subtle equipment details. The plasma effect may not be perfect, but the overall result looks solid on the tabletop. 🌿 The miniature is photographed in a natural setting, emphasizing the battlefield atmosphere. Painting models like this is a great way for me to relax – every soldier brings me closer to completing the entire squad. What do you think of this miniature? Jestem szczególnie dumny z efektu końcowego – mniej błędów, czystsze powierzchnie i moja pierwsza próba dokładniejszego cieniowania, która wyszła całkiem nieźle! Najwięcej czasu poświęciłem na wybór koloru chusty na twarz – ostatecznie postawiłem na intensywną czerwień, która świetnie kontrastuje z zielonym pancerzem i beżowym mundurem. Myślę, że to nadało figurce charakteru i wyróżnia ją spośród innych. Z każdym kolejnym modelem widzę swoje postępy, co daje mi ogromną satysfakcję! Co sądzicie o tym malowaniu? 😊 🇺🇸 ENG: During the assembly process, this particular miniature from the Cadian 8th really caught my attention, so I felt inspired to put extra effort into painting it. I’m especially proud of the result – cleaner surfaces, fewer mistakes, and my first attempt at more precise shading, which turned out quite well! I spent some time deciding on the color for the face scarf and ultimately chose red, as I think it creates an interesting contrast with the green armor and beige uniform. This detail really gives the figure a unique character. With every new miniature, I can see my progress, and that’s incredibly satisfying! Tym razem nie mam wiele do powiedzenia – nadal walczę z kolorem skóry, bo wciąż wydaje mi się zbyt blady, a rozprowadzanie farby do cieniowania to dla mnie wciąż wyzwanie. Mimo to widzę postępy! Coraz rzadziej wychodzę za linie, a efekt końcowy zaczyna naprawdę cieszyć oko. Tu także odważyłem się dodać element z wypraski do podstawki w celu urozmaicenia całości. Małymi krokami do przodu! 🇺🇸 ENG: After a short break with the Blood Raven, I'm back to the Guard! This time I don't have much to say — I'm still struggling with the skin tone, which looks a bit too pale to me, and shading paint is still a challenge. However, I can see progress! I'm getting better at staying within the lines, and the overall result is starting to please me. I also dared to add a small leftover bit from a spruce to make it more interesting. Tym razem wybór padł na Blood Ravens – mój ulubiony zakon, głównie za sprawą serii gier Dawn of War. ;) Po treningu z drobnymi figurkami Gwardzistów detale tutaj wydawały się wręcz banalne. Oczywiście, wciąż jest sporo błędów, ale cieszę się z postępów, jakie zrobiłem przez ostatnie miesiące. No, poza ręcznie malowanym symbolem Krwawych Kruków – ten wyszedł naprawdę komicznie. 🇺🇸 ENG: I decided to refresh my first Space Marines and repaint them. This time I chose the Blood Ravens – my favorite chapter, mostly thanks to the Dawn of War series. ;) After practicing with tiny Guardsmen figures, the details here felt almost easy. Of course, there are still plenty of mistakes, but I'm really happy with the progress I've made over the past few months. Kamil PodrybanEnglish below! 🇵🇱 PL: Trzeci żołnierz z 8. Dywizji Cadian. Widać postęp względem tragedii, jaką była poprzednia figurka. Nauczony doświadczeniem, tym razem grzecznie czekałem, aż wszystko dobrze wyschnie, zanim nałożę kolejną warstwę. Efekt jest zdecydowanie lepszy. Dwie rzeczy, które podobają mi się najbardziej: po pierwsze, figurka ma teraz odcień skóry, który wygląda bardziej naturalnie. Blado, ale całkiem ludzko. ;) Po drugie, użyłem farby Dark Gunmetal Metallic od Vallejo bez podkładu – widać ją na lufie i mieczu. Efekt naprawdę mnie zadowala! 🇺🇸 ENG: The third soldier from the Cadian 8th. You can see progress compared to the disaster that was the previous figure. Learned from experience, this time I patiently waited for everything to dry properly before applying the next layer. The result is definitely better. Two things I like the most: first, the figure now has a skin tone that looks more natural. Pale, yes, but still quite human. ;) Second, I used Vallejo Dark Gunmetal Metallic paint without any primers – you can see it on the barrel and sword.
