Essentially 100% of all Canadian goods being sold into the US market were already "complying with the USMCA". And the US had exactly the access to the Canadian market that the USMCA specifies.
i.e. there was nothing that Canada was non-compliant with. But we got hit with tariffs *explicitly banned* by the USMCA itself.
The USA is the only one who was noncompliant with our trade agreement, which if you'll remember, Mango Mussolini was extremely proud to boast that he negotiated himself, before recently saying whoever negotiated it was an idiot.
Just to clarify #trump didn't violate a judges order to reverse course on sending hundreds of #criminals to an #inhumane prison, Trump #violated the order to send random #migrants to an inhumane prison. Saying that because we don't know for sure they must be criminals. Now he's threatening to do the same to those who damage #tesla property, saying it's #terrorism. No due process, no fair trial or charges; this is a #violation of #HumanRights and needs to be treated as such.
The #US #Government under #Republicans / #Trump / #Musk are literally arresting US CITIZENS via #ICE, and holding them without cause or a warrant.
They are also arresting people, then creating warrants AFTER they are arrested.

I checked a bunch of the deleted stuff on the #CDC site, definitely covered by the order to restore, today. They were still all 404, so in #violation of the order.
I don't believe they're actually trying to be in #compliance. They're going the Andrew Jackson route, and any minor appearance of conformity with court orders is happenstance or misdirection.
We are through the looking glass. We are in a Constitutional crisis.

I think attaching the responsibility for what is happening to the Republican party points straight to the people who choose to look away, to ignore their oaths, and allow the #violation of our #establishedLaw.
