By popular demand of 3 people. Game of life on a flipdot display. Anyone who has a more interesting starting point for it?
Does anyone have a #Motorola #Iridium9505 (not #9505A / 9555 / 9575(A)(PTT)) charger / charging cradle / dock / serial adapter or can give me the #Pinouts for said #connector?
The Microsoft SoftCard for the Apple II: Getting two processors to share the same memory
The Microsoft Z-80 SoftCard was a plug-in expansion card for the Apple II that added the ability to run CP/M software. According to Wikipedia, it was Microsoft’s first hardware product and in 1980 was the single largest revenue source for the company.

#VintageComputing célèbre ses 20 ans d'existence ! J'aime beaucoup les articles que @benjedwards rédige, on sent qu'il prend le temps et qu'il aime ce qu'il fait.

IT'S MISSING DOS MONDAY!
This week, here's something that I know actually exists (but I'm only 99% confident it's for DOS…)
The Fire Fighter series are mid-90s, Indonesian-developed action games. They were created by the lovely (and now local!) Agustinus Nalwan, who no longer has copies of his own. :(

I'm hoping to have time this week to recap my Amiga CD32. I was going to do it today but decided to un-bury a 3D printer so I can print an expansion cover for it. That's progress, at least.
Last week, I had the pleasure of working with Children’s Capital of Culture in Rotherham for an amazing project — the 8-Bit Jam!
We introduced children to the magic of making music using vintage 8-bit video game machines, transforming classic technology into creative musical instruments. It was inspiring to see how curiosity and play can come together to create something truly unique.
A huge thank you to Rotherham and the entire team for letting me be part of this incredible initiative!
"Only Amiga - Enhanced" -- a modern upgrade to the venerable "Only Amiga Makes It Possible" song of olde that I happened to stumble upon on the 'Tube, by Tomáš Konvička in 2024.

Oh no, Mario has eaten too many mushrooms!
A 3D print design I made in 2016.
See other posts in this thread for more Mario.
The Death Screens of Conan
Conan: Hall of Volta was my favorite Apple II game, way back when, and probably still is today. A nice touch was that you were treated to a bit of a (often snide...) poetic sendoff upon your death. I remember many of these, but not all.
Thanks Ken!
