It's coming back to me. The main idea for the proxy stuff is so you can host
your packages on something like github and use your own domain name.
Then switching source control becomes less of a problem.

This is basically my perl cgi script to that i use for
making my git repos able to be go installable with
nice shorter package names.

#!/usr/bin/perl -w
#use strict; #need to copy in the strict lib for chroot

print "Content-type:text/html\r\n\r\n";

$H = $ENV{'HTTP_HOST'};
$R_URI = $ENV{'REQUEST_URI'};

@spl = split('\?', $R_URI);
$path = $spl[0];

$mod_str = "${H}${path} git ssh://${H}/repo/go${path}";
$mod_str = "<meta name='go-import' content='${mod_str}'>";

print $mod_str;

(that's a copy paste edit from a longer script, but it's basically valid.)
My script just translates from my non-go-compatible personal git
server to a shorter go one. But, i'm pretty sure you can cross domains
with it too like the github idea i was talking about.

Hey @thunderbird

If you want, you can try out #alectors, my NLRL library, for #spam or #fraud #detection on #emails for #thundermail.

Check it out at https://apotheke.earth/docs/alectors

It uses a pretrained #encoder to embed natural language into vector space, and then passes the vectors through a #transformer-based PPO agent, so that the output can have a custom number of dimentions. This means that rather than having an #LLM agent with a #prompt "[...] PLEASE OUTPUT PROPER JSON [...]", you can ensure that the output will be one of three, four, or as many actions.as you define.

The only downside is that you will have to train the agent yourself, as we as come up with an environment (I am working with a friend/colleague on custom nlrl env api, but its pre-prealpha).

Concerning the license, it is #sourcefirst, meaning that it has a clause for #fair #compensation regardimg #commercial #use. For this usecase, by #thunderbird, I would be perfectly happy with simply a #thundermail account so I can leave #fastmail and still use all two of my domains for email.

@verge@mastodon.social
Bullshit.

In response, #Mozilla added this #update to its #blog #post. “We need a #license to allow us to make some of the basic functionality of Firefox possible,” Mozilla says. “Without it, we couldn’t #use #information #typed #into #Firefox, for example.
Here's the problem with that:

Mozilla's job is to make a
#WebBrowser. They shouldn't need any of my #data whatsoever since their job is to make a web browser.

What I do with its web browser is my own fucking business.

Therefore, Mozilla doesn't need a "license" to use my data since none of my data is any of their concern.

But as for the browser specifically, Mozilla (as its creator) should never need or want access to anything I've consumed or created using their browser!

Fuck you, Mozilla.
