The number of Ukrainian refugees in the EU decreased in nine countries, with Germany, Poland, and the Czech Republic hosting the highest numbers. Germany hosted 1.3 million Ukrainian refugees, Poland - 955.52 thousand, and the Czech Republic - 364.38 thousand. The total number of Ukrainian refugees in the EU decreased from 4.23 million in February to 4.21 million in March. #UkrainianRefugees #EU

88% of Ukrainian refugees don't plan to return for at least another six months. Many in Poland express a desire to return in the future, but 88% plan to stay where they are for at least six more months. Around 6.2 million Ukrainian refugees are currently in different countries, but many are considering or have already returned home, citing a desire to reunite with family and homesickness. #UkrainianRefugees #RedCross

Poland will change the rules for providing assistance to Ukrainian refugees, including canceling the funding for their food and accommodation. There are concerns about how the government plans to handle the large number of children who are receiving education online. The Polish government's decision will need to be coordinated with Ukrainian authorities. #Poland #UkrainianRefugees

Ireland will decrease assistance to Ukrainian refugees by 5.5 times, reducing weekly payments from 220 to 38.80 euros. New refugees will also have their stay in state housing limited to 90 days. The Minister of Social Protection, Heather Humphreys, stated that she understands the situation in Ukraine, but believes that the situation has changed in the past two years. #UkrainianRefugees #Ireland

Over the past two years, over 320,000 Ukrainian refugees have left Germany, out of the 1.14 million who registered as foreigners in the country. Approximately 682,000 are women and 458,000 are men. Of those who arrived after the start of the war, 321,000 no longer live in Germany, but there is no statistical data on how many returned to Ukraine or reside in other countries. #UkrainianRefugees #Germany
