What we actually learn from today’s Atlantic piece about the opsec failure of the US government is that nobody gives a damn about the extrajudicial murder of Yemenis, Muslims, people of colour, or, for that matter, civilians. Not once did the editor contemplate to use his coincidental knowledge of imminent murder to prevent it from happening. What a sick fuck!

So, say a government investigation or something that might be able to crack the encryption likely can recover those “vanishing” messages.

They were trying to evade freedom of information act requests and subpoenas. They don’t even crime well.
