Someone want to tell me why the IDF under #Netanyahu, with modern surveillance, night vision and remote controlled drones couldn't stop #Hamas from frequently launching rockets from #Gaza aimed at Israelis?

I'm wondering because having those rockets raining down would have helped Netanyahu block the #TwoStateSolution.

The #TwoStateSolution appears to be dead after 75 years of failed efforts.

The cases are not comparable. #India and #Pakistan agreed to a #UN-proposed #TwoStateSolution in 1947 but #Palestinians rejected similar for #BritishMandate in #Palestine the same year.

It looks like my dream of a two state solution in the Levant may be at an end. :(

If this annexation gives full rights to the people of the West Bank, just like the Arabs who are Israeli citizens in Israel, I could be okay with it[1], but based on the politicians involved, I'm fearful this isn't going to be the case. Thus, I'm against it.

[1] I don't like the idea of annexation, I think it's morally wrong, but if it really gave the Palestinians full rights as Arab Israelis have, it would be good for women and Queer West Bank Palestinian, who currently have to live in the closet.
