Say it like it is. You know, I sincerely hope that the #RedditLockOut protest actually does something constructive. We need to stop companies from destroying there 3rd party supports because all it does is cause a rift between first party users and 3rd party users, especially when the first-party programs are not comparible in experience with the alternatives. It only lessens your customer base and as a whole, tanks the business your trying to make happen as seen with #Twitters' antics.

What?
#Elon must have eaten some bad food over the holidays... This sounds like a feature users actually want...that can't be. And I bet it won't work the way users actually want it to. #TwitterExodus #RIPTwitter

#Elon charging exorbitant fees for usage of #twitters API is exactly the difference between corporate for profit social media empires and decentralized and distributed networks based on open source protocols. Even if Elon wasn’t such an asshole we’d still need this.

Don't worry. Most of those 'stats' are just made up numbers, hardly reflective of reality. There's folks who've set up Private Accounts with no followers to test #Twitters stat tracking, and some of their Tweets - which NO ONE should have been able to see, mind - still receive impressions.

/also remember, Twitter's algorithm is designed to 'trigger' you into reaction - any engagement is Good Engagement in the eyes of Lord Elmo.

#Twitters war against #Substack, part III: #ElonMusk announced a "new feature” which enables Blue subscribers to create posts up to 10,000 characters in length (up from 4k characters). Obviously to battle “a rival newsletter service”. Additionally, Twitter has incorporated support for bold and italic text formatting and introduced monetization for content creators - w/o any revenue for Twitter in the next 12 months. Competition stimulates business..
