This #thinkpad X240 is from 2013 running on #archlinux and is hitting around 250-300 FPS. My ThinkPad literally gets hot over running that fast on this game. I've tried to limit it but it isn't working.

Who needs Extreme Tux Racer when my Tux Racer runs at extreme speeds?

I guess it's some bragging rights I've got now.

After a couple of years of #Minecraft, my kid said he missed #TuxRacer, and luckily I just happened to have a freshly installed #Debian for him on an old #Dell Precision M6800. Good times.

@blindcoder Das ist wirklich schade, zumal sie den Umgang wahrscheinlich auch ganz ohne ihre Eltern gelernt hätte und frei von Datenerfassung wäre. Aber es ist einfach schon toll, dass sie einen ersten Kontakt mit #Linux gehabt hat. Vielleicht kommt sie irgendwann wieder, wen sie ihre Technologie-Entscheidungen selbst trifft. Der damals ~7-8-jährige Sohn von Freunden von mir wurde übrigens durch #TuxRacer zum großen Linux Fan. (Okay, seine Playstation mag er schon auch...)
