Featured Park: Toverland (Sevenum, Netherlands)

Once an indoor park for young families, modern Toverland has grown enormously, and caters for all ages.

There's Troy, one of the best wooden coasters in Europe, Fenix, an absolutely beautiful wing coaster, and plenty of other quirky rides and attractions. The rides and areas are all beautifully presented, down to the colours of the electrical sockets.

The Avalon area of the park at Toverland. In the foreground, is an artificial lake, with boats from the Merlin's Quest ride travelling along the lake, heading for the indoor section of the ride. In the background is the blue track of the large B&M winged coaster, Fenix. A train full of riders can be seen climbing up into the Immelman inversion, before dropping down into a helix at ground level, near the one of the major paths through the area.
A train on Troy, Toverland's GCI wooden coaster, hurtles around one of the banked corners, high above the ground, before dropping back down towards ground level. Many riders have their arms in the air.
Some of the theming in the indoor queue for Maximus' Blitz Bahn, the powered bobsled ride at Toverland. The theme seems to be based around a quirky inventor, living in a chalet somewhere in the alps. The photograph shows a particular part of the queue, where a mesh tube runs through the room, and into the mouth of a quirky looking statue by the wall. The statue's eyes are normally closed, however, periodically a ball will roll through the mesh tubing, and into the statue's mouth. Whenever this happens, the statue's eyes will open briefly and roll around in a comedic manner, before closing again.
Booster Bike, the launched Vekoma motorbike coaster at Toverland, crests one of the hills towards the end of the ride. A few riders have their arms in the air. The Booster Bike launch track is visible in the foreground, whilst in the background, some of the structure of Troy, the park's wooden coaster, can be seen.
