OUR OBJECTIVE: to give animals a rightful voice in Student and General Strike organizing, develop far-reaching demands for their protection, and win.
WHAT IS THE STRIKE? The General Strike U.S. is a decentralized strike network focused on collective resistance against U.S. imperialism and the status quo. WHY STRIKE? 1) Traditional methods (voting, protesting, marching) have failed to bring real change. 2) The system relies on our labor, so we must withhold our labor and purchasing power. 3) We must refrain from

THE DEMANDS: The list of strike demands is in development. It is already tar-reaching and comprehensive, ranging from land back to tax the rich. But it isn't total liberation in scope. The interests of a key marginalized group must be included: nonhuman animals.

ATTEMPTING TO DEPOLITICIZE THE MOVEMENT.
Among other politically charged panels aimed at appealing to conservatives, AVA
is hosting an interactive session,
"Depoliticizing Animal Advocacy: Messaging Your Cause to Conservative Audiences." We'll keep saying it: liberation is inherently political.
ENDORSING EFFECTIVE ALTRUISM.
Timothy Pachirat said it best: "What could possibly go wrong when a largely white and male alliance of academics, business and nonprofit arrivistes, and obscenely rich donors reduce complex situations to numbers and plug those numbers into equations that claim to offer moral and strategic clarity about how we should live in a suffering world?”
ENDORSING AI.
There are multiple Al-centric events scheduled at the AVA summit. Psychosocial and political issues aside, Al is objectively detrimental to our natural world and therefore antithetical to animal liberation. A single Al data center can use up to 2 million liters of water per day. Environmental liberation is inseparable from animal liberation.
THE MAINSTREAM ANIMAL RIGHTS MOVEMENT IS FAILING.

Die Sonne schien und die Stadt war rappelvoll - so war auch unser Infostand sehr gut besucht. "Ohh, das ist aber lecker." und "Das sieht ja echt toll aus." sagten die Leute erstaunt über die veganen Leckereien. 
Es wurden sich viele Rezepte abfotografiert und Flyer mitgenommen. Wir konnten viele Menschen für einen veganen Lebensstil begeistern.
